New documentary exposes conflicts of interest among chemical companies
Planet Thrive | “Everyone should know that the ‘war on cancer’ is largely a fraud.” – Dr. Linus Pauling, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and the Nobel Prize in chemistry
A new documentary looks at some of the major chemical makers – including Dow Chemical, Bayer, Dupont, Monsanto – and how they produce cancer causing chemicals that pollute our environment, while at the same time, they are developing cancer treatments and profiting from the very disease their products are causing.
The film also examines genetically modified organisms (GMOs), a relatively new and untested technology being introduced into our bodies without our consent or knowledge and without proper government regulations.
It is this inane process – of big chem companies wielding their financial power and infiltrating the government to get their dangerous products on the market, and then for the same companies to profit from the diseases they cause – that makes up the idiot cycle. Round and round we go, and where we stop, nobody knows.
The film’s website, theidiotcycle.com documents a brief polluting history of each of the major Big Chem players: Dow | BASF | Bayer | Dupont | Astrazeneca | Monsanto
The site also shares suggestions on how to stop the cycle.
