Why did Barack Hussein Obama make the famous ‘One-Finger ISIS’ salute at the African Leaders’ Summit in Washington D.C.?

Posted by truthpills on 2015/02/19

A photo taken at last August’s U.S.-African Leaders’ Summit in Washington D.C. might shed considerable light. It shows Barack Hussein Obama flashing the one-finger affirmation of the Islamic State to dozens of African delegates.

American Thinker  The Associated Press took this astonishing photo as the African dignitaries joined Obama, who hosted the event, in a State Department auditorium for a group photograph.  It was published in an article in Britain’s Daily Mail, and it was the only use ever of the photo.

The one-finger display is the distinctive Muslim gang sign (most notably the sign of ISIS): The index finger points straight up while the thumb wraps underneath and presses against the digital phalange of the middle finger.  The remaining fingers are squeezed against the palm in order to highlight the extended forefinger.

The extended finger is symbolic of the one-God concept of Muhammad and is understood by all believers to be a symbolic shahada, the Muslim affirmation of faith: There is but one God and Muhammad is his messenger.

Thus when believers stick their index finger in the air, they demonstrate they are partisans of Muhammad’s God concept.  And they also affirm their belief in Muhammad’s claim he was the interface between God and man. They also demonstrate they are part of the umma, the exclusive transtribal supertribe of believers that Muhammad started 1,400 years ago.

With his forefinger in the air, Obama affirmed his membership in this tribe.

Climate Skeptic: Obama’s ‘Weather Witches…Trying to Legislate What Pagans Do’

Posted by truthpills on 2015/02/19

By Craig Bannister | February 17, 2015 2:29pm ET

Climate Depot Publisher Marc Morano tells MRCTV that the Obama administration’s “weather witches” are trying to mandate the types of rituals used by Pagans to try to control the climate.

The Obama administration’s tactics mirror those of Pagans who would call on “weather witches” to try to prevent bad weather, Morano explains:

“This harkens back, and I’m actually doing research on this – they’re called ‘Weather Witches’ – at Pagan festivals, weather witches are brought out to keep bad storms away. They’re actually brought out to stop the tornadoes, to stop a thunderstorm that might ruin the festival.

“The White House is now spinning that kind of language: Barbara Boxer, people in the Senate, Sen. Whitehouse from Rhode Island – they’re arguing a carbon tax could help prevent tornadoes, in this case in Oklahoma. They’re turning into weather witches and they’re trying to legislate what Pagans do at their festivals to keep bad weather away.”

By believing it can prevent bad weather via regulation, the administration has plunged the U.S. into “an age of modern witchcraft and astrology,” Morano says – adding that incidents of severe weather aren’t even on the rise:

“They think they can stop future hurricanes, floods, tornadoes and droughts by EPA climate regs and U.N. treaties. It’s truly an age of modern witchcraft and astrology.”

“We are the first generation, outside of the Pagan rituals and the weather witches, who actually think we can do something about the weather. And, they’re hyping every bad storm that happens. First of all, on every metric, on 50-100 year time-scales, extreme weather is either declining or showing no trend.

“And that includes floods on over a hundred years, droughts – droughts are actually declining on 60-year trends – tornadoes, big tornadoes, F3 and larger, are down since the 1950’s, and hurricanes, we’re on the longest period of no category 3 or larger hurricane hitting the U.S., in nine or ten years.”

Christians Can Opt Out of ObamaCare. This Outrages Lefties. Tough.

My wife is a member of Christian Health Care Ministries. At age 64, she pays $1,000 a year. What are you paying? You are probably younger, yet you pay more.

You are forced to do this by ObamaCare. My wife is exempt from ObamaCare. Maybe you can be, too.

If you are a Christian, you can cut your health insurance costs by half — maybe more. You can stay out of ObamaCare’s clutches. It’s all legal. These programs got onto the “need not comply” list in 2010. It’s the law. It’s a done deal. The Republicans in Congress are not about to put their constituents back into the “skin them for other people’s health care” pot. The horses are out of Obama’s barn.

This has the Left in a tizzy fit. The thought of it! Bible-believing Christians get a free pass. The atheists must pay full scale. But ObamaCare is a wealth redistribution scheme, as voters know now. So, atheists pay for ObamaCare’s welfare clients, too. Christians don’t pay this if they don’t want to.

Media buries statistics and studies pointing to vaccine dangers

Since 2005, the MMR vaccine has killed over 100 people while the disease has killed none. It makes you question what other statistics are there on the multitude of vaccines being pushed on society today and how many deaths per vaccine vs the deaths by the disease itself?

Posted by truthpills on 2015/02/18

By Lynne Z. Gold-Bikin

Making your spouse the first priority in your life requires your attention.
This second commandment offers four tips on strengthening your communication skills–including the importance of listening.
Lynne’s third commandment suggests ways to get out of the house and get the alone time your relationship needs–without kids!
5 ways arguments can help build your relationship rather than destroy it.
Speak up, express your feelings and watch your relationship grow.
Don’t impose your pre-marital baggage on your new spouse.
Keep the derogatory comments to yourself and instead say something nice.
Rehashing past arguments will not make the current issue easier to resolve, it will in face make things more difficult.
With one commandment to go, the Ninth Commandment states that all relationships must find shared interests in order to survive.
Too often in a relationship, people forget about their own needs. The Tenth Commandment gives you that permission.

19 Cool Uses For Coconut Oil

Posted by truthpills on 2015/02/18

by Sarah Lipoff 2/12/15

Coconut oil is having a moment — and not just in stir fries and baked goods. This slightly-sweet oil is a powerhouse that does everything from remove sticky labels to soothe cuts. With a jar running around $10, there are so many uses for this unique ingredient around your home, you may not even use it for cooking.

  • Body lotion: Use straight from the jar or make your own homemade coconut oil body lotion that soothes dry skin and also helps prevent age spots.
  • Treat athlete’s foot: Athlete’s foot is an itchy bother that’s caused by a fungal infection, which loves warm, moist, and dark places (meaning your sweaty feet). Thanks to coconut oil’s high amounts of antifungal properties, applying three to four times a day for up to a week will clear up the infection.
  • Stop squeaks: Next time your door or window screeches, rub a little coconut oil on hinges or edges of frames to stop the annoying noise and keep things moving.
  • Sticker remover: Tired of the stickiness left over from labels? Use coconut oil to help remove the gunk.
  • Wood helper: Make dry wood furniture happy again with a quick rub of coconut oil. The creamy oil also helps fill scratches in your favorite wood furniture, making things look new again.
  • Wound care: Due to the high concentration of antibacterial and soothing properties, smoothing a thin layer of coconut oil over a wound helps it stay clean and heal faster.
  • Fight yeast infections: Apply a small amount to affected area three to four times a day alongside ingesting up to three tablespoons each day during treatment. Coconut oil is high in lauric and caprylic acids, which have antiviral, antimicrobal, and antifungal properties.
  • Boost metabolism: Coconut oil has healthy components that tackle harmful bacteria while leaving healthy bacteria alone, helping to balance the flora in the digestive system. This results in feeling better, healthier, and happier. Simply replace cooking oil or butter with coconut oil.
  • Banish lice: It’s a topic most don’t want to discuss, but sometimes lice happen. Get rid of them fast by massaging coconut oil into hair and leaving overnight. Comb through hair then wash. The high fat content of the coconut oil literally suffocates the lice and helps them slide off hair, and the treatment is safe to use as often as needed.
  • Shine leather: If you’ve got an old couch that’s seen better days, rub a bit of coconut oil over the cracks to give it new life.
  • Car detailing: Apply a small amount of coconut oil to a soft cloth and use for wiping down the inside console of your car. Along with cleaning your vehicle, it delivers a subtle tropical smell that lingers.
  • Shave cream: Coconut oil is a wonderful emollient, so blend it together with essential oils to create a homemade shave cream that keeps legs smooth and also moisturized.
  • Stop dog’s itch: If you’ve got a pooch that’s got an itch or hot spot, massage a dollop of coconut oil on the area to relieve the irritation and soothe his skin.
  • Eye makeup remover: Simply swipe on a cotton ball and gently wipe eyes, removing eye makeup. And coconut oil helps fight fine lines, so using it to remove make up is a win-win.
  • Natural SPF 4: Straight from the jar, coconut oil is a natural SPF 4. Use in a pinch when needed with the benefit that you’ll feel like you just came from the tropics.
  • Refresh cutting boards: If your cutting board is feeling a bit dry, rub with coconut oil, let sit for four hours, then buff with paper towel.
  • Stop hairballs: Tired of kitty constantly leaving hairballs around your house? Rub a small amount of coconut oil on her paws, which will shine her fur and balance her system, cutting down on unwanted surprises on your floor.
  • Cooking: Coconut oil has a high smoke point, which means it can be used with high-temp cooking. And coconut oil is a rich source of fatty acids and healthier than trans fats or animals fats.
  • Fire starter: Next time you’re going camping or starting a bonfire, soak cotton balls melted in coconut oil, pack in a sealable bag, then slightly pull apart the ball and light. Toss in the kindling and you’ve got fire. The soaked balls will burn for five to 10 minutes, helping to create a nice blaze.

Doctors scramble to reassure public of MMR vaccine safety

Doctors in Washington are scrambling to explain why two MMR vaccine recipients contracted the mumps virus after being vaccinated.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the nation’s foremost health authority, claims the “Mumps vaccine is the best way to prevent mumps,” but two cases in Washington are forcing doctors to ease up on the vaccine protection rhetoric.

CBS affiliate KIRO reports that two people from two separate counties, King and Snohomish, contracted the mumps post-MMR vaccination, blaming the two-person “outbreak” on mumps cases leaking out of the University of Idaho.

The Snohomish County man had received one vaccine, while the King County woman had “received both recommended doses.”
